CSI Global Connect - Remote Access Internet Service Support - Maintaining Customer Productivity!
CSI offers remote access service to customers for breakdown, maintainence and installation commissioning service. This service can save valuable production time, avoiding downtime delay and cost of field engineer travel to a remote customer site.
This service is offered using the following variation in user site equipment:
1) Emergency Breakdown CSI Laptop shipped to job site equipped with broadband Internet access card and installed PLC, Drive, HMI or Servo system software.
2) Emergency breakdown service using LogMeIn.com service to customer computer where PLC, Drive, HMI, servo software is installed and Internet is accessible.
3) Permanent installation to CSI supplied Remote Access Computer with licensed PLC, Drive, HMI and Servo system software and dual Ethernet ports. Customer sets up VPN for CSI access and CSI computer uses Remote Access software. One NIC for industrial network connection and 2nd NIC for Plant Network.
In all cases, the CSI engineer has full access to remote computer, PLC, Drive, HMI, Servo equipment and with phone communication with plant personnel provides remote service or equipment commissioning. Customer assumes liability of visually observing operation while in phone communication with the CSI engineer.
